Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF) and Indigenous People Policy Framework (IPPF) for WaSSIP-Additional Financing (AF)

Narrative Description of Project:

EMC was contracted by the AWSB/World Bank to undertake a detailed Review and update of the ESIA and RAP for the roads project including supervising the implementation of the ESMP and RAP for this project and advising KeNHA and World Bank on safeguards.

Description of Actual Services Provided by Your Staff Within the Assignment:

EMC Consultants is prepared the ESMF, RPF, IPPF and the environmental and social screening which will permit the institutions in charge of the implementation of the project to identify, assess and mitigate the environmental and social impacts of the proposed interventions under WASSIP-AF. The ESMF also determines the institutional measures to be taken during the program implementations, including those relating to capacity building.
