Project Description:

The University of Nairobi’s (UoN) purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) PPP project is one of the projects prioritized under the partnership between PIDG and the GoK.  Accordingly, PIDG selected a consortium led by CRISIL Limited, through a transparent bidding process to provide transaction advisory support to UoN.   The aim of the project is to create adequate, affordable, and safe PBSA for the students enrolled in the university, as an alternative to private hostels. This report assesses the project’s institutional, legal, regulatory, financial, economic, environmental, and technical feasibility under the PPP model.
